For along these ways we wander, to explore, and discover, then resonate.

Synthesis features work from University Centre Doncaster’s BA Fine Arts and Crafts degree. This exhibition gives you the chance to view the creative flair of second year student talent.

We love this mixed media work made from upcycled materials…..

Emotive drawings from wire…..

Approaching their third and final year this may be the first experience for these creative individuals in exhibiting their work to a public audience. There’s bound to be a sense of nervousness, excitement and interest in how their work is received.
Why not take the opportunity to visit the gallery and experience what’s bound to be an intriguing exhibition?
What can I expect to see?
The work on display will feature a range of creative techniques and disciplines and, at the time of writing, the final content for the show was still being finalised. Suffice to say the visitor could expect to see examples of textiles, ceramics, printmaking, paintings, drawings and even digital processes.
Skilled ceramic work….

For the past six months these students have been developing their own visual language to express their interest, or make a commentary, on topics as varied as identity, dehumanisation, memory, symbolism, and personal experience, amongst others. Their creativity has been inspired by film, literature, philosophy, contemporary and classic artists and art movements.
